Seamy License is a young band from the Meetjesland that already managed to cash in the public prize and a place in the final of the Zeeland rock rally Steenworp in the first 8 months of its existence (April 2018). This allowed the band to gain a lot of experience in the months that followed, both in their own country and with their northern neighbors. At the same time, they developed a completely own repertoire, where they mainly got the mustard from The Beatles from 1967 when exploring the dreaded genre boundaries.
With an eclectic cocktail of retro pop, art rock and psychedelics, they serve the ideal tunes for skinnydipping in the Boerekreek. It does not say much, but with it everything: Seamy License cannot be put in a box and with that attitude they catapult the audience directly to a time where everything was possible and where style breaks were the style.
